Utility Operations Supervisor


The Village of Hartland is seeking an experienced Supervisor to serve as it’s Utility Operations Specialist. A strong candidate will have demonstrated the ability to lead and develop people and have a vast knowledge of water, sewer, and storm utilities. Qualified candidates will be highly organized and enjoy detail-orientated work requiring a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications: This position prefers but does not require a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction plan review, utility management or related field or professional experience and training providing a similar background. At least 5 years of progressive experience in a Supervisor role in public utility maintenance and operations. Must also possess a Wisconsin Grade 1 Water Operator Certification and Wisconsin Basic Wastewater Collection System Certification within one year of hiring. Be able to obtain a CDL Class A.

Salary: From $80,000/year (negotiable dependent on qualifications) with an attractive benefits package.
