Library Reopening Plan

The Lobby is OPEN banner 2

Thank you for your continued support and love of our library services! We miss you all and are evaluating the best methods to bring you our services with safety and quality. Libraries are busy community centers with heavy foot traffic and high touch public areas. We have come up with modified ways to bring you as many library services as we can. This may mean rolling out services slowly so that we can manage crowds and maintain a clean space for you.

The Lobby is opening!

The library will open to the public May 26, with limited capacity and services. Our NEW hours of service are listed below. Only our lobby area will be open and available to the public until further notice.

To provide social distancing, we will have limit the number of people who can enter the building.

While we will continue to offer curbside pickup, patrons will also be able to pick up holds in person.

Public computers will be available by reservation only, with extensions available.

We encourage patrons to only send one person per household and ask that you wear a mask if possible.

Please return items in the outside book and media drops. The inside book and media drops are closed and the staff will not take items at the front desk.

How To Browse Our Collections

While patrons will not have access to the rest of the building, there is still a way for you to browse our collections. There will be carts with various items from each collection. Each cart or display case will hold items from a different collection. To provide social distancing, each collection will be limited to one cart or display case.
