You have access to library materials from all 24 libraries in the Bridges Library System. Please note that each library has their own policies regarding borrowing materials. The following policies are for Hartland Public Library.

- DVDs: 7 Days
- Tinker Totes: 7 Days
You are able to renew items in person, over the phone, or online.
Renew by Phone
If you have an item or items to renew, you are able to call the library at 262-367-3350 during open hours (click here to see the hours of operation). Please give your first and last name to the staff member, along with the title of the item or items you want to renew.
You are able to renew item(s) online through the catalog. Please follow the steps below:
- Open the CAFE Catalog from the Hartland Public Library home page.
- Log into your account using your library card barcode and your password.
- Once logged in, go to "Items Out" tab.
- Select the item(s) that you want to renew and click the "Renew Selected Items" button or you can click the "Renew All Items" button.
*Please note that not all items are available to renew. Some titles will have holds.
You may place holds on items at no cost. The number of holds per patron is limited to 50. Holds may be placed by telephone or at our library website, on the CAFÉ Catalog. You will be notified when your items are available, either by phone, email, or text message, and you will have seven days in which to pick them up. If you have not yet signed up for email or text notification and wish for this service please access your account online or check with the circulation desk.
The overdue fine for most items is $0.10 per day. There are a few exceptions to the $0.10 late fine, such as Inter-Library loan items from outside of the Bridges Library System. These fees may range from $1.00 to $10.00 in late fines.
